Mitchell County Fair

We checked out the Mitchell County Fair in Osage tonight and it was so much fun! Brody loved checking out all of the animals and playing in the corn pit. Of course we hit up the dairy stand for some chocolate milk and a strawberry shake. 

 

Brody is growing his own soybean in a little Ziploc bag :-)

We went to the truck and tractor pull too! Brody loves to watch anything with wheels and Cooper seemed to enjoy his first pull :-)

Acreage Picnic!

We have been having lots of little picnics at the acreage this summer. Dad is trying to get lots of work done so we can build a house next summer so we sneak over with some lunch or supper so we can enjoy a little break with him. We had this picnic up on the trailer and Brody got to check out Dad's 4-wheeler!

 

Wyoming ATV Trip

Time for Mom and Dad to get away! We took our annual ATV trip out west last week. Always wanting to get as much done in as little time as possible, everything happened at full speed. We packed up from camping on Sunday, headed home, and packed up the grown-ups to head west and the kids to head to Grandma Arthur's... all by 1:00. We headed out and ended up staying in Chamberlain, SD overnight. We made it the rest of the way on Monday. When we made it to the Big Horns, we spent some time driving up the mountain and enjoying the sights. I thought that drive was crazy in the summer so I can't even imagine what its like on snowmobiling trips. We found a trailhead, pulled off and hopped on the Commander. We spent some time on our own and took a little ride around the areas where they snowmobile. So exciting to see!

Camping

This week we camped with Aunt B, Uncle Eric, Jaxon and Maci in Rockwell. We were able to enjoy the pool, golf course, fireworks, and truck/tractor pulls. We love camping! It may seem like work sometimes but seeing these guys enjoy the outdoors with each other is priceless!

 

Check out Jaxon's tongue! I think he is meant for the Major Leagues!
