Tummy time is exhausting!

Buffalo Days 2013

This weekend was Buffalo Days in Nora Springs. Mom ran the 5K and achieved her goal - to run the whole race (no matter how slow). After the 5K the Lions Club had lots of kids activities in the park. Brody had so much fun and Cooper did his usual... slept in the stroller. We went to the parade in the afternoon. Brody went wild for the candy and loved all the fire trucks :-)

We spent some time after church this morning watching Dad drive is remote control car. Of course, Brody had to be decked out... no shirt, hat, and shades :-)

Dad's Day

This Father's Day we loaded up on the Commander for a day full of fun! We headed trough Rock Falls and enjoyed the sights in the greenbelt. There was lots of flooding and things got a little hairy a couple of times but Dad got us through! We fueled up and got some pizza at Casey's in Nora Springs for our picnic in the park. We ate and played! What fun!

Holding My Paci!

Cooper fell asleep holding his pacifier up on his pinky. He was holding so still while he was snoozing away.

Cherry Berry Date

 After we left the fair today we drove to Mason City to do some shopping and have a family date to Cherry Berry! YUM! Brody decided he does not like cold gummy worms but he loved the rest - especially the frosted animal cracker.

 

Cooper's First Smiles

 The last few days Cooper has been really starting to smile at us and coos when he is happy! We have been loving these smiles :-)

This guy has really been sharing his smiles lately. It sure makes mom and dad feel good :-) And check out that crazy hair... what a cutie!

First Commander Ride

We took the boys on a Commander Ride tonight to test out the new backseat. We decided we didn't want to give up riding so the Commander had to grow just like our family.  It was so fun! Cooper slept the whole time and Brody thought it was great... but wasn't impressed when Dad got him MUDDY!

Worth County Fair

We have spent the last couple days at the Worth County Fair watching Uncle Matt show his horses! What a fun experience for these two boys! YeeHaw!

 

Snuggles!

 Brody has been a great big brother but occasionally he is too much help! He really meant well this morning... when I found Cooper buried by his lamb in the swing, Brody said he was helping Cooper snuggle.

 

Storytime!

 One of Mom's favorite parts of maternity leave is doing fun things with both Cooper and Brody. This summer Brody gets to attend lots of the summer reading activities at the Mason City Library. Brody loves going to the library, especially when he gets to hang out with Jaxon, Maci, and Aunt B!

 

Little Camper!

 Our camping weather has been a little undesirable this year so Brody is a little confused on what to wear. Tonight he is goin' for... Gabby's shades, footie PJs, fleece jacket, rubber boots, and a koozie on his hand. He always knows how to make us smile :-)

Cooper's Baptism Day!

Today we celebrated Cooper's baptism. It was a fantastic day surrounded by family and church friends. Cooper wore the same baptism outfit that Brody wore. It is a very special outfit that Grandma Zieman made from both her and Grandma Arthur's wedding dresses. We had a great day and feel blessed that Cooper is a part of God's family.
