A Barnyard Birthday Bash!

Brody's birthday party was just a few days after his actual birthday this year. We hosted a farm-themed party at Pizza Ranch in Mason City. We had a night full of gifts, food, and cake :-) Brody was so happy our family could celebrate with him! (A big THANK YOU to Grandma Irene for these pictures! Mom wasn't a good photographer this year.)

Love My Lego Guys

Brody loves his Lego Duplos and he received a couple sets as Christmas gifts - a farm set and a train set. Both sets came with some Lego people and that has been his favorite part! His "guys" or "boys" as he calls them seem to always be part of his play. This guy didn't fit in the cab of his John Deere so he rode on top!

 

NYE 2013

Happy 2013! We decided to ring in the New Year with a low-key celebration! Dad returned from his ATV trip to Oklahoma on New Years Eve so we wanted to spend some family time together. We headed to the indoor waterpark and hotel in Owatonna, MN. We had dinner, did a little swimming, and relaxed as a family. We were all sleeping before midnight but we had a fantastic time!

 

Brody loved the waterpark, especially all the animals in the pool with him. He picked them all out right away - elephants, hippos, and even a giraffe!
